Trish grew up in Great Falls, Montana with five brothers and four sisters and was very connected to her grandmother. Her family moved to Bremerton when she was fifteen. She earned a Ba Ed degree from Seattle University and a M.Ed. from Western Washington State University.
After teaching for twenty-five years in the classroom and then working eleven years with students, parents, and teachers as a Learning Specialist, Trish retired and turned to writing. She lives in Washington State’s woodsy Kitsap County with her husband and their Boykin Spaniel, Katie. When not writing, one of her favorite activities is to volunteer as a steward for the Heritage Park near her home.
